Given Aperol’s sudden rise in popularity in recent years it may come as a surprise to you to learn that this refreshing Aperitif has been around for nearly 100 years. The original recipe was the result of 2 brother’s work and experimentation having inherited a liqueur company in 1912. The Spritz which so many of us drink with Aperol has also been around longer than you might think- it was actually launched in the 1950s.
